Los Angeles minimum wage will increase to $13.25 per hour for employers with 25 or less employees. The rate for employers in Los Angeles with 26 or more employees will go to $14.25. The change is effective July 1, 2019.
California's minimum wage change for 2019 was effective on January 1, 2019, and remains at $11.00 per hour for employers with 25 or less employees. The rate for employers with 26 or more employees is $12.00 per hour.
Please note that California's minimum wage is scheduled to increase on January 1, 2020 to $12.00 per hour for 25 or less employees; and $13.00 per hour for organizations with 26 or more employees.
